At Mektron Mexico, we handled the entire development of an injection mold made of aerospace-grade tempered aluminum and 1018 steel, capable of producing 12 units per injection. We implemented a vibration-based air extraction system and precision pin alignment, as well as self-adjusting mechanical clamps to maintain stability. Without initial drawings, our engineering team simulated, designed, and fine-tuned every detail of the mold to ensure it met the customer's specific demands. This mold is now essential for the production of high-strength connectors.
